The beginning of the year 2018 has been characterized by World Cups in Rhythmic Gymnastics . At the competitions in Sofia (30.03. - 01.04./ Bulgaria), Tashkent (20. - 22.04./ Uzbekistan) and Baku (27. - 29.04./ Azerbaijan) the gymnasts showed their routines on the  SPIETH-RG competition floor “Beijing” (carpet with substructure). In autumn of this year, the Bulgarian capital will be hosting once again an event in Rhythmic Gymnastics: from 10th to 16th of September, the RG World Championships will be held with individual and group competitions in Sofia.

In addition to Sofia, Baku will also be the venue for a second exciting sporting event in this year: with the RG World Cup in April (27.-29.04.) Baku is within a short time host of another event with SPIETH equipment: at the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in March (15.-18.03.) male and female gymnasts showed their difficult routines on the the SPIETH gymnastics apparatuses.

However, the highlight of the first half of the year were the Goldcoast 2018 Commonwealth Games in Queensland (AUS) from 4th to 15th of April. Around 6.600 athletes and team members from 71 Commonwealth nations participated in sports, entertainment and culture. Competitions in 18 olympic and non-olympic sports and 7 paralympic disciplines took place at a total of 11 competition days. SPIETH Gymnastics was the official supplier for all equipment of male and female competitions in artistic gymnastics including a service technician team on-site. Overall 14 containers with gymnastics equipment in a green look were shipped to Australia, set up and maintained. 5 service technicians ensured smooth processes and great success as well in the competition as in the training halls.
