New Long-Term Partnership Between SPIETH and IFAGG

Aesthetic Group Gymnastics – The Art of Movement in a Team

Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG) is a fascinating sport that continues to gain popularity worldwide. At its core are expressive, harmonious movements performed by teams of six to ten athletes with the highest level of precision, unity, and flow.

What Makes AGG Special?

Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG) is an extraordinary sport distinguished by its unique blend of teamwork and elegance. The focus is on the group: all movements are executed in complete harmony and synchronization, creating a powerful and impressive overall picture. The choreographies combine art, gymnastic and dance elements into a unique, aesthetic performance where expression, group spirit, and creativity take centre stage. Often, teams tell a story through movement, emotionally engaging both judges and audiences alike.

The World Federation IFAGG

The International Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (IFAGG) has been the recognized world governing body for AGG since 2003. It coordinates international competitions, develops regulations, and promotes the sport globally. Today, IFAGG includes 52 member federations and clubs representing 49 countries, reflecting the continuous growth and international reach of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics. Key responsibilities include organizing World Championships, training coaches and judges, and collaborating with other international sports organizations.

AGG continues to expand worldwide. It is estimated that around 5,000 people are actively involved in international AGG as gymnasts, coaches, judges, and officials. Beyond this, many more participants practice AGG at national and local levels.

SPIETH as Official Partner

To further support the development of AGG, SPIETH Gymnastics will become the official partner of IFAGG starting in 2026. As part of this partnership, SPIETH will provide the official AGG competition floors, which will be used exclusively at international events. Together with IFAGG, SPIETH is committed to creating optimal conditions for athletes worldwide and spreading the fascination of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics even further.
